So I pride myself on being a very conservative, minimally invasive and holistic dentist. And I love to save teeth. Unfortunately, there are some instances where the teeth cannot be saved, whether it be decay that’s too far gone or mobility because of the bone loss.
Sometimes you just cannot save a tooth, predictably, long-term. And in that case, a tooth removal is your best option. We always remove the teeth in the most conservative way, trying to preserve as much bone as we can, whether we use lasers to stimulate healing or clear out infection using lasers.
We always replace the bone because it gives you optimal long-term anatomy so that you can place the implants in the most ideal way. Or for example, if it’s your front teeth and you’re losing teeth, we wanna restore the bone and the gum tissue so that any prosthetic solution will look natural.
